Maiden issue of Once upon a tea time magazine

Priya of once upon  tea time has launched a home décor magazine.  She has a beautiful article on block printing in this issue.

Weekend - So much to get done and so little time

I hope you all had a productive week.  I am not looking forward to this weekend or next few weekends.  We have so much work and projects to get done and not enough time before new years.  We all go through that.  Don't we?  

None of these stop me when I get certain hobby ideas.....I do some of these jewelry when I get certain ideas and I just do it irrespective of what time it is in the night.

This was one such project.

Autumn harvest at Bellagio.

This Thanks giving weekend we took a break to get some R & R for the family.  Don't get me wrong, we are truly thankful and grateful for what God Almighty has provided us.  We are constantly on a quest to better ourselves spiritually.   With the kind of fast paced life we lead these days everyone deserves some R&R.

We had a getaway package to Vegas and decided to use it before it expired.  This was one of our least expensive vacation to date.  I love visiting Bellagio's Conservatory & Botanical Gardens.  I went there expecting to visit a winter wonderland but we were treated to autumn harvest decor.  I wasn't disappointing either.

New Madhubani painting

 I was looking for Madhubani while we were in Bangalore.  I couldn't find anything.  When I found them they didn't go well with my pocket book.  So, my SIL  R comes to my rescue once again.   Hehe.......

So, This is the new Madhubani R made for me .  Are they not beautiful?  R has also done glass painting for me.  She is one talented kid I tell ya...........
