Weekend project

I  am so looking forward to this long weekend.  I have had a long stressful week at work.  I need to unwind big time.  I have a project on mind.  One of my close friend U was throwing away an old plant stand.  I offered to take it off of her hand.  Here is how it looks.

As kids grow up and are getting ready to leave the nest for the first time, it will be an emotional roller-coaster for both your kid and yourself.  I have been thinking of ways to keep myself busy.   Even as a kid, my mom always kept us busy.  I have been exposed to so many different type of arts and hobbies, some of which I even excelled at.  I did pick up new ones even when kids were young.  

Now, its time for me to go back to my roots.  I will posting about my DYI projects, trips and any new recipe I try.
